Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is coming out of hiding two weeks after his brief stint in the Trump White House came to an unexpected end.
ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos will get the first post-exit interview with Scaramucci Sunday on This Week.
EXCLUSIVE: I’ll sit down live with @Scaramucci for his first interview since being fired from the WH, this Sunday only on @ThisWeekABC

The announcement was made early this morning, hours after Stephen Colbert announced that “The Mooch” would appear on The Late Show the following day.
On Monday 8/14 Anthony Scaramucci will be my guest on @colbertlateshow. This is just a heads up for our censors to get ready! #themooch

Colbert has made a habit of lampooning the eccentric former Trump staffer / TV newser, so the interview should be an entertaining one.
Last week, Scaramucci teased a post-exit “tell all” show that was reportedly going to be produced by former Fox News chief Bill Shine. But he decided to cancel it the day before. His appearances on This Week and The Late Show will be his first public outings since his highly-publicized departure from the Trump administration.
Scaramucci made additional headlines for sending out a cryptic tweet yesterday, comparing New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza to Linda Tripp, the woman known for secretly recording Monica Lewinsky‘s confidential phone calls about her relationship with the Pres. Bill Clinton. He then said Lizza taped the call without his permission.
.@RyanLizza is the Linda Tripp of 2017. People know. And he is up at night not being able to live with himself.
