Another Day, Another Gregory Story

By Brian

Are Jim Axelrod and Martha Raddatz jealous? NBC chief White House correspondent David Gregory keeps getting press.

In thie AP piece, Gregory “admits he’s clicked on firedavidgregory.com.” The story covers the familiar terrain — briefing room drama, apology to McClellan, quotes about political polarization — but I’m especially interested in the hints about his future aspirations.

David Bauder says the McClellan spat “did nothing…to dim his rising star at NBC News,” and notes that Gregory is filling in for Matt Lauer on Today this week.

Gregory says “there are a lot of great jobs at the network. I’ve got one of them. I want to keep doing it, keep growing at the network and do lots of different things.”
