Anna Nicole: CNN #1 In Primetime Demo

Thanks to Anna Nicole Smith, CNN beat FNC in the 25-54 demo on Thursday night. In primetime, CNN averaged 622,000 demo viewers, slightly above FNC’s 612,000. Fox was still #1 in total viewers, with 2,235,000 compared to CNN’s 1,790,000.

Paula Zahn averaged 405,000 in the demo and 1,252,000, significantly above her usual numbers. But the viewers really flocked to Larry King, who had 788,000 demo and 2,505,000 total viewers from 9 to 10pm. Most of the demo viewers kept watching at 10pm, when Anderson Cooper had 674,000 demo and 1,615,000 total viewers.
