Andrea Tantaros Sues Fox News

Andrea Tantaros, who earlier this month publicly claimed she was sexually harassed by former chief executive Roger Ailes, filed a lawsuit against the network Monday.

In the suit, first reported by The New York Times, Tantaros accuses top executives at the network of punishing her for complaining about sexual harassment by Ailes.

“Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny,” the lawsuit claims.

Fox News does not comment on pending litigation.

The suit follows Tantaros’ removal from Fox News over a contract dispute. Fox News said the dispute involved Tantaros’ book, Tied Up in Knots, which was released April 26, one day after Tantaros made her last appearance on Fox News Channel.
