Anderson Cooper: ‘And We’ve Just Gone to Black in China’

By Jordan Chariton

CooperLast night, “Anderson Cooper 360” viewers in America got to see what Chinese viewers of the program were seeing in real time.

“And we’ve just gone to black in China, so we’re no longer being seen in China,” Cooper told his audience while a small graphic showed his show airing at the same time on a TV in China.

The blackout came because of a David McKenzie report about Christians being persecuted in Eastern China by the Chinese government. Chinese censors have blacked out CNN programming in the past.
