Alison Stewart to report for ’60 Minutes’ Sunday

By Chris Ariens

Former MSNBC anchor Alison Stewart is reporting a story for Sunday’s “60 Minutes.” Stewart got the first interview with 19-year-old Sam Eshaghoff, an Emory University student facing criminal fraud and impersonation charges for taking the SAT and ACT for fellow students. He took the test at least 20 times charging up to $2,500 per exam.

It’s a return to CBS News for Stewart who worked for the network in 1996 reporting for “Sunday Morning,” and “48 Hours.” Stewart has also worked for ABC News, as “World News Now” anchor and spent four years at MSNBC from 2003-2007. Until September, Stewart anchored “Need to Know” a weekly PBS series.
