For the second time this week, a reporter from CBS’s flagship station is heading to network TV news. Jessica Schneider, a reporter at WCBS is joining CNN in the New York bureau. She’ll also contribute to the Crime & Justice team, according to a memo from VP of domestic newsgathering Terence Burke, obtained by TVNewser.
Earlier this week, WCBS anchor Diane Macedo joined ABC News as anchor of World News Now and America This Morning.
Also at CNN, Alina Machado will be leaving CNN where she has been a correspondent in Miami. She joined the network in 2013. Boris Sanchez will take her spot in the Miami bureau. Sanchez will primarily cover Florida and the Southeast U.S.
