Alex Wagner Joins CBS This Morning: Saturday as Co-Host

Alex Wagner has been named a CBS News correspondent and co-host of CBS This Morning: Saturday. Wagner will report for all CBS News broadcasts and platforms.

“I’ve been a diehard CBS viewer since birth—literally. I couldn’t be more honored or more excited to join the CBS family,” said Wagner. “I’m greatly looking forward to covering stories from every corner of the news universe, and can’t wait to get started on Saturday.”

A graduate of Brown University, Wagner joins CBS News from The Atlantic, where she was a senior editor reporting on politics, culture and social trends, and where she will remain as a contributing editor, writing for the magazine and TheAtlantic.com, and moderating live events. Previously, she was host of the MSNBC daily news program Now with Alex Wagner. Before that, Wagner was a reporter for the Huffington Post, covering innovation and the U.S. economy.

She will thrive on this program where we cover everything from breaking news to the latest societal and cultural trends.”

Wagner will begin her new assignment alongside co-host Anthony Mason on the November 19 broadcast of CTM: Saturday.
