Al Sharpton will be among the MSNBC hosts in New Orleans later this week for the Essence Festival. But Sharpton could soon be taking his show to Chicago. According to CBS Chicago, Sharpton “wants to put Chicago’s violence problem in the national spotlight and will spend a few months in the city working on the ground with other church and community leaders.” Being in Chicago for an extended period means Sharpton’s daily 6pm show would originate from the city.
