Al Jazeera America released its new iPhone and Android app yesterday, billing it as a second screen device that will complement its online presence just as much as its TV programming.
”By no means a traditional second screen app, the app also includes Al Jazeera America’s broadcast schedule, a local channel finder, and each article can easily be shared via Twitter and Facebook,” said EVP for Product and Innovation Angela Morgenstern.
