Ainsley Earhardt Gives a Boost to Fox & Friends

Since Ainsley Earhardt joined as co-host of Fox & Friends last Monday, the show is up +30 percent in total viewers and up +37 percent in the A25-54 demo, through Tuesday’s broadcast. That’s compared to the 2015 average.

With 1.28 million total viewers, the No. 1 cable morning show topped CNN’s New Day by 547,000 viewers and MSNBC’s Morning Joe by 680,000 in Earhardt’s first 7 days on the job.

Just before she started her new gig Earhardt, who has been with Fox News since 2007, told TVNewser, “I knew if I got my foot in the door at Fox, I would try my hardest to climb to the top.”

CBS’ The Insider followed Earhardt on her first day last Monday. Moving to Fox & Friends actually allows Earhardt to sleep in just a little longer. She’d previously anchored the early morning show Fox & Friends First.
