Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt is coming out with a second children’s book later this year, and if Take Heart, My Child was any indication, she could have another New York Times Bestseller on her hands.
Through Your Eyes: My Child’s Gift to Me details Earhardt’s early experiences as a mother with her daughter Hayden.
“Children teach you to stop and smell the roses even though you’re busier than you’ve ever been before,” Earhardt said this week on Fox & Friends. “It’s just an amazing experience and so this is my book to the moms out there who have children who have experienced all of this. And the dads too. Just how fortunate and how blessed we are and how much we love our children.”
Earhardt recalled an experience at a store where her daughter encountered a dog for the first time.
“In New York a lot of people bring their animals into their stores and so Hayden just starts cackling,” said Earhardt. “I turn around and there is a dog and Hayden is pointing to the dog and laughing. It was the first time she had really seen a dog up close. The first time we went outside and it was raining. She saw the rain and she was just staring. I am so fortunate that I get to watch a human being discover things that we all take for granted. That’s what the book is about.”
