Ainsley Earhardt Welcomed at Fox & Friends

Ainsley Earhardt has made her debut on the Fox & Friends “curvy couch” Friday morning, welcomed by co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. “She is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life,” Doocy said.

Earhardt was named the replacement for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who left the show in December. Her first official day is Monday.

“Thank you Roger Ailes for this opportunity,” Earhardt said. “There are no words. Dreams can come true and this is truly a moment for me. I sat on the sofa yesterday, we were trying to figure out some shots and I walked into the studio – how many times have I done that over the course of my ten years here? I was nervous, excited, I walked in – it’s just so cool and I’m so appreciative of everyone. I can’t fill Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s shoes, but I’m going to be here and work as hard as I can and give you the news every morning and wake you up with a smile.”
