1 p.m. ET update: Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott and Fox News president Jay Wallace released a joint statement in regard to the threats made towards Tucker Carlson and his family outside their home yesterday evening.
“The incident that took place at Tucker’s home last night was reprehensible. The violent threats and intimidation tactics toward him and his family are completely unacceptable. We as a nation have become far too intolerant of different points of view. Recent events across our country clearly highlight the need for a more civil, respectful, and inclusive national conversation. Those of us in the media and in politics bear a special obligation to all Americans, to find common ground.”

An angry mob of protesters part of a group named Smash Racism D.C. gathered in front of Tucker Carlson’s Washington D.C. home last night (with his family inside), and chanted threats meant for the cable newser. According to National Review, the self-described “anti-fascist” group chanted: “Tucker Carlson, we will fight!” “We know where you sleep at night!”, in protest of the policies he parrots on his 8 p.m. Fox News program.
As of publication time, Smash Racism D.C.’s Twitter account is suspended.

The group also harassed DHS secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, forcing her to leave a restaurant in June, as a group berated her for her role in implementing the administration’s zero-tolerance immigration-enforcement policy.
