Anderson Cooper beat Shep Smith on Monday night, in both total viewers and the 25-54 demographic. At 7pm, the total viewer matchup was neck-and-neck: CNN had 2,794,000 and FNC had 2,738,000. Cooper’s lead was more clear in the 25-54 demo, with 1,186,000 viewers compared to Shep’s 961,000. Other CNN successes:
