October’s Washingtonian dishes on the hobbies of D.C.-based journalists, including three TV people:

• CBS’ Bill Plante loves wine, a hobby that developed when Plante was in college, and realized he didn’t like drinking beer. He now has a personal wine collection of more than 1,500 bottles. “I love good, mature Bordeaux more than anything else,” he tells the magazine.
