Perhaps taking a cue from MSNBC’s “Doc Block,” CNN devoted two hours of primetime to “After Jesus: The First Christians” on Wednesday night. The last hour of The Situation Room and all of Paula Zahn Now were pre-empted for the doc, which was narrated by Liam Neeson.
The reviews have been positive: The Detroit News called it “sweeping and powerful” and the Toronto Sun said it was “excellent,” for example.
It reairs Friday at 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 8pm…
