Journalists regularly ride along with President Obama aboard Air Force One, but they rarely get a chance to visit the iconic aircraft’s flight deck and talk with the crew–the pilots carefully chosen for to fly the president around the world. “Air Force One is one of the most recognizable symbols of the United States,” ABC’s Jonathan Karl told TVNewser. “It was a real honor to spend time with the men and women who make it the most secure, efficient and impressive passenger plane in the world.”
Karl toured all parts of Air Force One, and rode along on a flight Monday from Washington to New York.
