ABC’s Isham Replacing Leissner As DC Bureau Chief For CBS News

By Brian

Janet Leissner is officially out as Washington bureau chief for CBS News.

Taking her place is Chris Isham, the “well-regarded, award-winning chief of investigative projects” for ABC News, TV Week’s Michele Greppi reports.

“The move will reunite Mr. Isham with former ABC News colleagues including ‘Evening News’ executive producer Rick Kaplan and Paul Friedman, the CBS News senior VP who conducted the search for the bureau chief.”

A tipster says Leissner, home sick this week, “found out from contacts at ABC.” The change hasn’t been confirmed by CBS yet…
