October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and ABC News has begun a special, division-wide series, The Fight Against Breast Cancer.
The online component of the series is underway at ABCNews.com, featuring Dr. Tim Johnson and a video library on breast cancer information.
On Sunday, accompanying broadcast coverage will start, with reports throughout the week on breast cancer, airing on GMA Weekend, World News Sunday, GMA, World News with Charles Gibson, and Nightline.
There’s also The Girlfriend’s Guide to Breast Cancer, airing Thursday on digital network ABC News Now. Guide is a panel discussion featuring Cokie Roberts, Robin Roberts, and other women of ABC News, who will talk about their experiences with breast cancer. The program will be available on demand at ABCNews.com.
