ABC’s DC Bureau: “Clean Bill Of Health”

A tense 45 minutes for employees at ABC News in Washington, DC. Just before 1pm, contractors working in the basement of the bureau “came across some powder they found suspicious.” In an email to employees, News President David Westin wrote, “Out of an abundance of caution we have evacuated the facility until the authorities can confirm that this is nothing to worry about.”

And that has come to pass. Here’s the update from Westin, “The authorities have given us a clean bill of health… Tests indicate the powder was an aspirin-based substance.”
