AlminKAlmin Karamehmedovic, ep of ABC’s “World News Tonight” was taken to a hospital Wednesday night following the show’s holiday party. According to Page Six, Karamehmedovic was waiting for an Uber outside Manhattan restaurant The Ribbon when he fell and hit his head on the pavement.

“Almin collapsed… bleeding from the head, incapacitated. He was taken to the hospital. ABC News staff were gathering around as… a pool of blood seeped out onto the sidewalk,” a witness reported.

An ABC spokesperson added, “We’re just glad he’s OK, and he was back at work from the DC bureau the next day.” Karamehmedovic, a 17-year ABC News veteran who took over the top job at World News Tonight last year, was in D.C. to attend last night’s White House Christmas party. Bruised, but otherwise okay.
