ABC News’ Diane Sawyer Explores Female Special Ops Soldiers

ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer is staying busy as she gears up for Friday’s Bruce Jenner special. Sawyer will be on World News Tonight at 6:30pmET and Nightline at 12:35amET to report on the first female soldiers to work alongside special operations teams on the battlefield during the Afghanistan War.

“They are the people who remind us what it is to live at your best,” Sawyer said.

Sawyer was also on Good Morning America earlier today to discuss the tale of Ashley White, who died serving her country. White’s story is documented in the new book Ashley’s War by Gayle Tzemach Lemmon.
