ABC News chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross’ reporting from his book The Madoff Chronicles inspired the upcoming ABC miniseries Madoff. The portrayal of the infamous Ponzi scheme recently wrapped production and will air in 2016.
Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss will play Bernie Madoff, while Emmy and Tony-award winning actress Blythe Danner will play Ruth Madoff. Madoff will follow the rise and fall of the former investment adviser and convicted felon, and the subsequent fallout on his family, associates and investors.
Linda Berman and Joe Pichirallo are executive producers of the project, which is produced by Lincoln Square Productions in association with ABC Studios.
