ABC Makes Media Relations Moves

Movin’ on up: Following the launch of the new Nightline and the upcoming premiere of the new World News Tonight, ABC News has announced a number of changes to its media relations department.

WNT publicist Cathie Levine is now executive director of media relations. “In addition to her new responsibilities as a spokesperson for all of ABC News, she will continue to work on behalf of World News Tonight to develop and guide the broadcast’s long-term communications strategy,” the press release says.

D.C. publicity coordinator Natalie Raabe is promoted to publicist of World News Tonight and NYC publicity coordinator Alison Bridgman is promoted to publicist of Nightline and This Week. Emily Lenzner will continue to oversee media relations for both shows as director of dommunications in D.C.

Former Fox News senior media relations manager Paige Capossela is joining ABC as the publicist for Primetime. Alyssa Apple will remain publicist of 20/20.
