Abby Huntsman is leaving Fox News and she will join ABC as a co-host on The View.

Huntsman, currently a co-host on Fox & Friends Weekend, will join former Fox Newser Meghan McCain as a second conservative voice on the ABC round table panel program.

Huntsman is replacing Sara Haines, who is leaving The View to become co-host of the new third hour of GMA with Michael Strahan (GMA Day) when it launches Sept. 10.

A Fox News spokesperson confirmed that this Saturday and Sunday will be Huntsman’s last time co-hosting Fox & Friends Weekend.

TVNewser has reached out to ABC for comment.

The View panel will consist of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, McCain and Huntsman.

Huntsman, daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia and former Utah governor Jon Huntsman, joined Fox News Channel as a general assignment reporter in 2015 and was named Fox & Friends Weekend co-host in December 2016.

Prior to joining FNC, Huntsman served as co-host of MSNBC’s The Cycle and was a host/producer for The Huffington Post’s streaming network HuffPost Live.

Mediaite was first to report the move.
