A Fox Morning Show?

Fox Television is planning to launch a morning news show in 2006, according to a report on FTVLive. “Word is that Rupert Murdoch’s son Lachlan is heading the secret project that should hit the air around March 2006.” The site says that the show will be broadcast from FNC’s headquarters, “but that Fox News will have little input into the show.” But why would Fox affiliates want to give up two hours of their morning, and why would FNC want to create competition for Fox & Friends? I’m skeptical…
