A-10 Conference, ESPN Agree To TV Extension

By Marcus Vanderberg

The Atlantic 10 Conference and ESPN have agreed to a two-year television contract extension to televise both men’s and women’s basketball games through the 2012-13 season.

In each of the next two seasons, Atlantic 10 basketball will appear at least 32 times across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. In addition, the network will carry the women’s championship finals in 2012 and 2013.

“We are extremely pleased to have an outstanding partnership with ESPN,” said A-10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade. “The exposure, quality of the telecasts and national reach of ESPN and its networks is invaluable to A-10 Basketball and the league.”
