60 Minutes landed back in Nielsen’s Top 10 programs of the week this week, finishing fourth in both viewers and households. This was the sixth time in seven broadcasts that the CBS program finished in the Top 10.

The program was the night’s highest rated, with 14.48 million viewers and scoring a 9.5/15 in households.

One of the main draws of the broadcast was Scott Pelley‘s exclusive interview with the FBI agent who interrogated Saddam Hussein after his capture. Steve Kroft led the broadcast with a story focusing on the sub-prime mortgage meltdown and it’s relationship to Wall Street’s turbulent week.
