3,700+ Questions For GOP Candidates

By Chris Ariens

It’s back to work for CNN’s politics team preparing for next week’s YouTube Republican candidate debate in St. Petersburg, FL. So far 3,748 questions have been submitted for the GOP candidates. Online users have until Sunday night at Midnight (PST) to submit questions for Wednesday’s face-off.

The questions include two engineering students named Aruna and Hannah asking the candidates their opinions about teaching evolution & creationism is public science classrooms, to a young man from Michigan asking about slaughterhouse conditions, to a video showing a cat dancing on a ball with the question “Will you fight global warming?”

Democratic candidates met the YouTube crowd in a debate in July. That contest was the fifth most-watched primary debate this election cycle.
