24 Years Of Headline News-ing

Believe it or not, there’s still a “CNN(2) original” at the anchor desk in Atlanta.

“Chuck Roberts, the anchor who spoke the first words on the Atlanta network at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, 1981…remains at the anchor desk today, at age 58, making him the longest-serving on-air person at Headline News,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says.
