The TVNewser Bracket Challenge is back for its 8th year as the 2016 NCAA college basketball tournament tips off this afternoon with Duke taking on UNC-Wilmington on CBS. Defending champion Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson is back in it to win it, so is 2011 winner Dominic Chu. CNBC’s Squawk Box is well represented, as anchors Becky Quick, Joe Kernen, Andrew Ross Sorkin, and substitute anchor Kayla Tausche will take on senior producer Anne Tironi and executive producer Sandy Cannold. CNN’s At the Hour anchors John Berman and Kate Bolduana are also competing for bragging rights.
Top seeded Kansas is getting the most love, but Indiana, North Carolina, Kentucky, Oregon, Xavier and Virginia have all been picked to cut down the nets in Houston. There was no love for last year’s Champion, Duke however.
