The CBS Evening News played a clip of Sunday night’s highly anticipated Anderson Cooper interview with Stormy Daniels who claims she had an affair with Donald Trump beginning in 2006.
The 10-second promotional clip doesn’t tell us much about the interview. In fact, Daniels doesn’t speak at all.
But in announcing the interview, CBS says Daniels will be “revealing details that bring her story up to the present. It is the first and only television interview in which she speaks about the alleged relationship.”
Cooper will also look into the legal troubles Daniels is facing for even taking part in the interview. In 2016, she accepted a $130,000 payment to remain quiet. She says she’s not bound by the agreement, because Trump never signed it. Trump’s lawyers claim Daniels is liable for more than $20 million in damages for already violating the agreement.
