‘Tiger Jam’ back in Vegas after skipping year

“Tiger Jam,” Tiger Woods’ long-time charity music concert, is back on this weekend after taking a year off, and John Mayer and Keith Urban are headlining the event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

“I’m thrilled these two talented musicians are joining us for Tiger Jam,” Woods says on his Web site. “We have had so much success with this event over the last 13 years, raising more than $12 million for programs of my foundation, and we are excited to continue that tradition.”

According to Greg McLaughlin, chairman of Woods’ foundation, last year’s event was canceled because they couldn’t coordinate the schedules of the artists they’d selected to perform. Woods’ representatives denied reports that the cancellation of the event, held in Las Vegas since 1999, had anything to do with his sex scandal or his divorce.
