-Ratings Breakdown:

NBC reigned supreme on this second Friday in June, with the seventh (and final) game of The Stanley Cup Finals at an above-average 7.51 million viewers and a 3.0 rating/11 share among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m. in primetime. Personally, I have no recollection of a hockey game ever rating this high. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown:

The Stanley Cup Finals, Game 7 (NBC)

 8:00 p.m.: Viewers: 5.78 million (#1), A18-49: 2.2/ 9 (#1)

 8:30 p.m.: Viewers: 6.37 million (#1), A18-49: 2.5/10 (#1)

 9:00 p.m.: Viewers: 7.27 million (#1), A18-49: 2.9/11 (#1)

 9:30 p.m.: Viewers: 7.55 million (#1), A18-49: 3.1/10 (#1)

10:00 p.m.: Viewers: 9.01 million (#1), A18-49: 3.7/12 (#1)

10:30 p.m.: Viewers: 9.07 million (#1), A18-49: 3.7/12 (#1)

Lackluster ABC opened the evening with its revised combination of sitcoms Surviving Suburbia (Viewers: #4, 2.87 million; A18-49: #4, 0.6/ 3), which is waiting for the axe to officially swing, and animated dud The Goode Family (Viewers: #4, 1.82 million; A18-49: #4, 0.5/ 2 – series low). The Goode Family, in fact, could be the worst performance ABC has ever delivered in the Friday 8:30 p.m. half-hour in the history of the network! Next on ABC were two episodes of canceled Samantha Who? (Viewers: #4, avg. 2.38 million; A18-49: #4, avg. 0.7/ 3 from 9-10 p.m.) and veteran newsmagazine 20/20 (Viewers: #2, 5.98 million; A18-49: #2, 1.6/ 5 at 10 p.m.), which featured American Idol winner Adam Lambert.

Elsewhere, CBS aired repeats of dramas Ghost Whisperer (Viewers: #2, 5.19 million; A18-49: #3, 1.1/ 4), Flashpoint (Viewers: #2, 5.46 million; A18-49: #2, 1.0/ 4) and Numb3rs (Viewers: #3, 5.48 million; A18-49: #3, 1.0/ 3). Don’t forget that NBC’s former Medium steps into the Friday 9 p.m. hour on CBS next season. Flashpoint returns in midseason.

Fox ran its combination of game show Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Viewers: #3, 3.81 million; A18-49: #2, 1.2/ 5) and a repeat of drama Mental (Viewers: #3, 2.60 million; A18-49: #3, 0.8/ 3). And the CW capped off Friday with repeats of its canceled line-up of Privileged (Viewers: 936,000; A18-49: 0.3/ 1), Everybody Hates Chris (Viewers: 938,000; A18-49: 0.3/ 1) and The Game (Viewers: 989,000; A18-49: 0.4/ 1), which finished last in every half-hour. Considering Privileged ended with a cliffhanger, too bad the network did not order a second season.

To whet your appetite for next fall, here is the upcoming Friday line-up:

ABC
 8:00 p.m. Supernanny (new time)
9:00 p.m. Ugly Betty (new day and time)

10:00 p.m. 20/20
