The Upfront: MyNetworkTV Touts Branded Nights to Garner Dollars

MyNetworkTelevision is hoping to lure in advertisers in the current upfront with a fall schedule that will include branded nights, each with product integration opportunities, and a sales pitch that points out that over the past year it has jumped from the 31st to the 11th highest-rated TV network among viewers in the 18-49 demo.

Judy Kenny, who recently joined the broadcast network as executive vp, sales, said in early discussions with advertisers and media agencies that they have been receptive to the newly structured schedule that will include entertainment shows on Monday nights, reality crime shows on Tuesday nights, comedy on Wednesday nights, action movies on Thursdays, WWE Smackdown on Friday and family movies on Saturday.
