Spanish-language TV stations are changing the landscape of local news, often besting their Anglo counterparts. For the June ratings period (May 29 to June 25), Univision’s owned-and-operated stations in New York and Los Angeles had the top two-rated early newscasts, regardless of language, among all the local people markets.
