Tribune’s John Hendricks Upped to EVP, Interactive and Broadcast Sales

Tribune’s John Hendricks was promoted Tuesday (June 10) to executive vp of interactive and broadcast sales from senior vp of sales for Tribune Broadcasting.

In his new position, Hendricks will oversee national and local sales for Tribune’s 23 TV stations and the more than 50 Web sites operated by the company’s broadcasting, publishing and interactive divisions. He is charged with developing strategic business and sales initiatives and coordinating broadcast and interactive group ad agreements, working closely with Dana Hayes, Jr., senior vp of sales for Tribune Interactive, who will now report to Hendricks.

“John’s done a great job for our broadcast group, now we need him to work the same magic with sales at Tribune’s Web sites,” said Marc Chase, president of Tribune Interactive.
