Netflix is king among streaming services, but a new report has estimated how the others fall in line.

According to an estimated number of subscribers from Parks Associates, a market research and consulting company, here’s how the top 10 OTT services rank:

  1. Netflix
  2. Prime Video Users (Amazon Prime)
  3. Hulu (SVOD)
  4. HBO Now
  5. Starz
  6. MLB.TV
  7. Showtime
  8. CBS All Access
  9. Sling TV
  10. DIRECTV Now

The firm didn’t give specific estimates for the number of subscribers, but Hulu said at its NewFronts presentation in May that it had about 20 million subscribers.

Meanwhile, CBS All Access said in August it had more than 2.5 million subscribers.

Online pay TV, the report noted, is one of the fastest expanding areas in OTT, in part due to the aggressive marketing efforts by the platforms.

“HBO, Starz, Showtime and CBS All Access demonstrate the powerful attractiveness of original content through series like Game of Thrones and Star Trek: Discovery,” said Brett Sappington, senior director of research, Parks Associates, in a statement. “This pattern suggests new services such as WarnerMedia’s DC Universe and the forthcoming streaming service from Disney could achieve success quickly.”
