Telemundo Wednesday (April 1) appointed Ronald Gordon president of its TV group. Gordon, who headed up the largest group of independent stations affiliated with the Telemundo TV network, is the former president of ZGS Communications. He replaces Ibra Morales, whose contract with the group recently expired.

As president of the Telemundo Television Station Group, Gordon will oversee the operation of 16 owned-and-operated Telemundo stations.

“Ron is an exceptional media executive. His creative leadership and entrepreneurial skills combined with his passion for the Latino community make him an outstanding choice to lead the Telemundo Station into a successful future,” said Donald Browne, president of
Telemundo Communications Group, to whom Gordon reports.
