TBS Draws Nearly 7 Million Viewers for NLCS Game 1

TBS drew nearly 7 million viewers with Thursday night’s National League Championship Series opener, putting it slightly above its year-ago delivery.

The Turner network’s telecast of Game 1 of the Phillies-Dodgers tilt served up 6.86 million total viewers per Nielsen live-plus-same-day ratings, an increase of 3 percent versus last season’s ALCS opener (6.69 million).

TBS also drew more younger viewers, as 996,000 viewers 18-34 have tuned in for the playoffs, of which 673,000 are male. Both numbers represent a 12 percent uptick.
