Spot Runner Hires Former MTV Exec

NEW YORK Digital advertising agency Spot Runner has named former MTV Networks president and COO Mark Rosenthal vice chairman and president of media platforms.

He will oversee the firm’s New York operations and preside over a newly formed division “that develops programs that leverage technologies for the benefit of advertising agencies and media companies,” Spot Runner said. Rosenthal reports to chairman and CEO Nick Grouf.

Rosenthal most recently was chairman and CEO of Interpublic Media, part of ad agency conglomerate IPG.
