Sirius XM Exec Team Named

In an internal memo to the staff, Mel Karmazin, CEO of the newly-merged Sirius XM Radio named the company’s five-person management team, culled from both the XM and Sirius sides.

Dara Altman, formerly executive vp of business and legal affairs for XM, was named executive vp and chief administrative officer; Patrick Donnelly, executive vp and general counsel for Sirius, retains his title for the merged company; David Frear, executive vp and chief financial officer for Sirius, also retains his title; Scott Greenstein retains his Sirius position as president, entertainment and sports of the merged company; and James Meyer, from Sirius, continues as president of operations and sales.
