Ryan Seacrest Reups With CC

Ryan Seacrest is now a $60 million man.

In a new three-year deal with Clear Channel Communications, Seacrest’s firm, Ryan Seacrest Enterprises, Seacrest will continue his current role as producer and host of his radio shows broadcast in top markets such as Los Angeles and New York, and create new content for CC’s traditional and radio platforms.

The agreement also calls for the companies to partner on developing and promoting new music artists and other multi-platform media projects, including a record label and music publishing, a live concert series and TV content.

The new deal is a big raise for Seacrest, arguably Clear Channel’s highest-profile talent. His last three-year agreement was for $35 million.

“Everyone at Clear Channel is thrilled to renew and expand our partnership with Ryan, who is not only a top radio and television personality but also a true visionary who has firmly established himself as America’s leading curator of popular culture,” said Bob Pittman, Clear Channel’s new chairman of media and entertainment platforms.  “Ryan is a singular talent and brings incredible assets to his partnership with Clear Channel.”

Seacrest will continue to host On Air with Ryan Seacrest, which airs 5 to 10 a.m. PT on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, which is customized for WHTZ-FM (Z100) in New York. His nationally syndicated midday radio program syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks will be expanded to four hours. Seacrest will also continue as host of American Top 40, which airs on 500 stations, including internationally.

Seacrest will also serve CC’s spokesperson, appearing at Clear Channel-sponsored events such as Jingle Ball and Wango Tango.
