Rick and Morty’s Pickle Rick Now Has Its Own Pickle-Flavored Miracle Seltzer

The limited edition product will debut at the Adult Swim Festival on National Pickle Day

Adult Swim is squeezing all the vinegar-y juice it can from Pickle Rick—the version of Rick and Morty‘s mad scientist character that made his big green debut in Season 3 of the hit animated series.

After debuting a Pickle Rick-themed Pringles flavor last year, which kicked off a yearlong partnership with the chip brand that included a Super Bowl spot, Rick and Morty is now expanding its pickle-flavored footprint into the beverage category. It’s the first brand partnership for Miracle Seltzer, a craft seltzer that launched in September 2019 at a surf shop in Manhattan.

Miracle Seltzer’s founders first approached Adult Swim with the idea, and then brought hydration company Pickle Juice on board to ensure an authentic, time-tested flavor for the drink.

“Miracle Seltzer is a one-way ticket to a new dimension—one filled with pure psychic love,” said Miracle Seltzer co-founder B. Thom Stevenson in a statement.

“With the help of our friends at Adult Swim (and especially Pickle Rick), you can now easily travel to one of these dimensions in one of these universes in one of these space-time continuums, all while staying hydrated on your journey,” Stevenson continued. “Open your eyes really wide—there are miracles, and pickles, all around you.”

The new product is slated to launch during the virtual Adult Swim Festival on Nov. 13-14. In fitting coincidence, the second day of the event also happens to fall on National Pickle Day. The limited edition Pickle Rick seltzer will be available through Miracle Seltzer’s website and from select retail stores around the country, including DashMart and Spencer’s Gifts.

Adult Swim is releasing a new line of Pickle Rick merchandise alongside the seltzer.

“Pickle Rick quickly became a fan favorite and when the team at Miracle Seltzer came to us with this unique opportunity, we had to say yes,” said Tricia Melton, chief marketing officer of kids, young adult and classic programming at Warner Bros., in a statement.

The pickle-flavored seltzer drink is made with organic ingredients and contains no sugar or caffeine. To accompany it, Adult Swim is also releasing a line of Pickle Rick merchandise, including limited edition hats and tote bags featuring the face of the sociopathic scientist as it appears on the pimply, brined cucumber.
