Effective next Tuesday, a two-hour edition of America’s Got Talent will fill the Tuesday 9-11 p.m. block (out of an encore telecast at 8 p.m.).

Second-place CBS populated the evening with repeats of NCIS (#2: 5.6/10), spinoff NCIS: Los Angeles (#2: 5.5/ 9), and The Good Wife (#2: 3.7/ 6), which moves to Sundays at 9 p.m. (out of The Amazing Race) this fall.

In week two news, 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show on ABC matched its opening levels, with a third-place 3.2/ 5 at 9 p.m. And that same overnight performance last week translated into a respectable 1.9 rating/5 share among adults 18-49. Week two of Canadian drama lead-out Combat Hospital dipped to a last-place 3.0/ 5 at 10 p.m., which was 17 percent below the 3.6/ 6 it kicked off with one week earlier (which only translated into a 1.2/ 3 in the demo).

Earlier in the evening on ABC was an original installment of overused Wipeout at a third-place 3.3/ 6 at 8 p.m.

Elsewhere, Fox opened with reality/competition Masterchef (#4: 3.2/ 6 at 8 p.m.), followed by back-to-back repeats of Raising Hope at an average 1.5/ 2 (#4) from 9-10 p.m. The CW aired repeats of One Tree Hill and canceled Hellcats, which each averaged a last-place 0.5/ 1.  As a reminder, Raising Hope shifts to Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. this fall out of upcoming sitcom New Girl. One Tree Hill is on hold until midseason.

NATIONAL RATINGS IN PRIME-TIME:

Week of June 20, 2011

NBC reigned supreme in this third week in June, with a first-place finish in total viewers and the three key demos: adults 18-49, adults 25-54, and adults 18-34. And NBC’s victory, of course, stems from The Voice and summer favorite America’s Got Talent. Growth for the Peacock net from one year earlier was as much as 20 percent (in total viewers and adults 18-49). CBS finished first in households.
