Yesterday’s Winners: The Stanley Cup Finals, Game 7 (NBC), So You Think You Can Dance (Fox) Yesterday’s Losers (excluding repeats): ABC News: Caught in the Act Repeat Count: 54 percent of last night’s lineup was encore telecasts. Ratings Breakdown: In what could be a first, game seven of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals (Bruins at Canucks) led the evening in the overnights, with a 5.9 rating/10 share from 8-11 p.m. (peaking at a 7.1/12 at 10:30 p.m.). But two-hours of So You Think You Can Dance on Fox (#2: 5.4/ 9 from 8-10 p.m.) is expected to dominate among adults 18-49. Elsewhere, CBS populated this third Wednesday in June with encore telecasts of Undercover Boss (#3: 3.4/ 6), which returns in an undetermined time period in midseason; Criminal Minds (#3: 4.4/ 7); and Blue Bloods (#2: 4.6/ 8), which will be airing twice weekly all summer. Over at ABC, back-to-back repeats of sitcoms The Middle (#4: avg. 3.0/ 6 from 8-9 p.m.) and Modern Family (#4: avg. 3.4/ 6 from 9-10 p.m.) led into original ABC News special, Caught in the Act, at a third-place 3.6/ 6 at 10 p.m. The CW capped off the night with two repeat episodes of tired America’s Next Top Model (#5: avg. 0.8/ 1 from 8-10 p.m.), which is hoping the first all-star edition next fall ignites interest. As a reminder, here is what you will be seeing on the broadcast networks on Wednesday this fall (with new shows in caps). Seven new shows will populate the evening (four sitcoms, one drama and two nonscripted), with two returning series (CSI on CBS and Harry’s Law on NBC) moving to the night. Comparably, Wednesday has the most number of changes, which is the normal pattern every season. A pilot episode was produced earlier this month. Telepictures will introduce Anderson, hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, this fall. Charlie Sheen Update: Charlie Sheen’s $100 million lawsuit over being fired from Two and a Half Men will be handled through private arbitration rather than in a public courtroom. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Allan Goodman ruled Wednesday that Sheen's contract with Warner Bros. Television has a valid arbitration clause. Ashton Kutcher will, of course, replace Sheen on Two and a Half Men next season, but there is still no confirmation of who exactly he will be playing. Patty Duke Joins Cast of Lifetime’s The Protector: New Lifetime drama The Protector, which opened with a disappointing 1.9 million viewers last Sunday, has a new cast member: Patty Duke. The former teen sitcom star and Academy Award-winning actress will join The Protector as Ally Walker’s mother in a recurring role beginning in episode seven. Emmy Award Nomination Date Announced: Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly) and Fringe star Joshua Jackson will announce the nominations for The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Thursday, July 14 at 8:40 a.m. ET/PT.
