Netflix’s revival of One Day at a Time made a name for itself this year and managed to thrive outside the shadow of the the ’70s sitcom on which it’s based. Now, the show is paying homage to the original series in a clever promo announcing its Jan. 26 Season 2 premiere date.

The new cast, including Justina Machado and Rita Moreno, participated in a shot-by-shot reenactment of the opening credits to the original show, which ran from 1975-1984 and starred Bonnie Franklin, Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli.
