NBC has passed on ordering any future episodes of freshman spy thriller Undercovers, which will officially end after the initial 13 installments.

Undercovers is now the fifth casualty of the seven-week old TV season, joining already canceled dramas My Generation and The Whole Truth on ABC, Outlaw on NBC and Fox’s Lone Star.

Created and executive produced by Lost creator J.J. Abrams, and compared to past Abrams scripted hour Alias, Undercovers created an early buzz by casting two African-American actors, Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, in the lead roles.
