MSNBC is suspending Ed Schultz, host of “The Ed Show,” for one week without pay, due to comments he made about conservative radio host Laura Ingraham on his own radio program. Schultz twice called her a “slut.” “Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” said a statement from MSNBC.
Tuesday on “Fox and Friends,” Ingraham had criticized President Obama for enjoying a pint of Guinness in Ireland instead of immediately flying to the the site of the recent tornados in Joplin.
